Hotch: Just know that you did everything you could. Sometimes we get it right with a little luck, and most of the times we don’t; that’s the job. It’s never perfect. It’s still better to care.
JJ: You really believe that?
Hotch: I believe it’s never perfect.
Now that we know Thomas is coming back, I can’t help but wish CM stuck with its original season finale script and had the last scene between Hotch and JJ. My roommate says I’m just biased (even though she agrees it would’ve made more sense for JJ to see Hotch) because she knows I love JJ/Hotch interaction. Really though, who can blame me? How can you have AJ/JJ return and NOT have her only scene with TG/Hotch? They’re so awesome together.
